The Year of the Horse: Winds of Change

Like the wheels on a bicycle, we are constantly rotating in a circular fashion.  We are not linear Beings, traveling on a straight line of time as we have been taught, but rather we are on a cyclical path.  That means that all things in life move through
various phases, connecting us with our deeper Selves and promoting the ever current of transition.  With that in mind, a new cycle is upon us.  According to the lunar calendar and ancient Chinese wisdom, the year of the Horse began with the new moon on Thursday.  In essence, this signifies the movement from the quiet introspective space of last year’s Snake, to the active time of change that Horse represents.

Horse connotes not only the power of strength, grace, freedom, rapidity, and grounding energy, it also holds the key to our continual advancement of civilization.  From almost the dawn of humanity, we have worked in conjunction with the horse to aid us with our technological needs. From farming to transporting our supplies, to giving us the drive to seek out new lands and new civilizations, the horse has been our collective carrier.  Moreover, this technological advancement can be viewed as a metaphor for our own Spiritual evolution.  With each step we take, we are continually growing into better versions of ourselves.

Furthermore, while last year, we may have spent more time in quiet contemplation, this year is about change, change and more change.  Horse doesn’t just sit around waiting for things to happen, it actively pursues what it wants.  Action is the name of the game here.  That means that we will not only be less inclined to want to fulfill couch-potato duty, it also means that the Universe is providing the spark of inspiration for us. And believe me, it has already started.  I honestly cannot sit down to watch a movie without having to pause it. That's because I will inevitably channel something I need to either do or that I need to write about. Needless to say, there has been a whole lot of jumping around in my house in order to complete whatever the latest task is.

That being said, we may also experience a proverbial firestorm or two along the way.  Shifting energies are creating new formulas for places, people, things, jobs and so on that are aligned with our current vibrations—and it may feel a little wobbly while it’s happening.  However, there is no need to grip onto what is no longer serving us, because Spiritual contracts may be over for the old, while Spiritual contracts will be made that represent who we are in the present moment.  Just send the old energies Love and Light, for they have taught us an ample amount of information. Then let them go. 

For example, I know someone who recently experienced a theft, but in the course of our conversation, she told me that she had been thinking about leaving this particular business and this was just the icing on the cake.  She had already answered her question.  The Universe wasn’t being unkind, it simply cleared the way for the new growth to come in order so that all the good stuff that she really wants can make its way to her.  Marilyn Monroe quipped that when things fall apart, sometimes things are actually falling together, and she was right.  We simply need to move with the flow of life so that the falling together can take place.

As the shifting energies are moving quickly, this is the time that our dreams actualize in this 3-D world of ours.  We have done our inner work and our actions are creating the actual manifestations now.  So, buckle your seatbelt and get ready for the possibility of travel, abundance, new relationships, and whole lot of goodness coming your way.
