The Sterling Rose

As a Spiritualist, I know that life does not end when the body dies; it simply changes form. When we leave our physical bodies we return Home in our Truest form of Light, embracing the welcoming arms of Heaven and God-Source. That said, it is still difficult to lose a loved one. I encourage all to remember that life is precious and we must express our feelings of love every day.

The following poem is dedicated to my brother, Cary, who unexpectedly left this planet yesterday. I am honored to have had him in my life. He will be missed and I look forward to our next meeting.

The sterling rose delights the nose with its scent that inflames passion.

It blossoms from a bud barely open and curious about the world around it, to a fully open lavender colored masterpiece that would have inspired Da Vinci.

The petals fall in the end to perform its final duty of energizing the earth for the next generation.

The circle of life continues.

Love,
Sis
