MIND-READING

Someone recently emailed explaining that it was amazing that I could read their mind and it was a bit scary for them. I wrote this person back explaining this idea of "mind-reading" and I thought I would share it with you.

The fact of the matter is I actually do not mind-read. It is not as though I can read what is going on in there. However, energetically speaking every Being, which means humans, other animals, plants, rocks...essentially everything in the Universe is One Consciousness. With that in mind we ALL have intuitive abilities because we are all One.

The thing is, that most of us have forgotten this Truth, and it can seem a bit scary when it is presented to us by another. Part of the reason we all have to incarnate on Earth in human form is to experience something "new" (even though it is not really new spiritually speaking) to help our Spiritual Development so that eventually, we will not need to come back down to Earth in human form. Every experience we have physically is a metaphor for what is going on with us Spiritually and everything we learn helps us to grow.

From a human context we forget our Spiritual Natures so we can experience a) various emotions and b) ways of learning to expand our Spirit. As we learn it may seem a bit nerve-racking, but that is part of the process.

To give you an example, from a human context, do you remember when you first learned to ride your bike? You were not an expert. You were wobbly. You fell down a few times. You needed to practice. Then you got used to it and you were an expert, smiling all the way, remembering what you already knew on a Spiritual Context. You were able to experience all sides of learning to ride a bike; the so-called bad (which is not really bad) and the good. Learning to ride a bike is a metaphor for learning to grow Spiritually and learning to remember our Intuitive Nature is part of the same process.

The moral of the story: do not place judgement on yourself for being scared. Honor the process as it is all PERFECT and DIVINE...just like YOU! :-)
